I can teach students of all levels, and take everyone on their own terms. I am open to some remote learning, and it can work quite well for things like theory lessons, orchestration, etc. Remote piano, although it is inferior to real in-person teaching, can still be useful, so long as it is mixed in with in-person lessons.
(see below)
I have a Doctorate and a Masters degree from Juilliard, and my undergraduate degree is from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. My last piano teacher was Leon Fleisher. I have taught at the University of Virginia and at Juilliard (Evening and MAP programs). I have a good deal of experience teaching privately as well, and have taught students of a wide range of levels and ages.
