This self contained, walk up apartment is on the second floor of a triplex building in the centre of a delightful fishing and surf village on the west coast of Mexico.

We built this home in 2022 and it was intentionally designed to maximize quality of life and comfort.

When you arrive, you will use the smart technology wrist bands to open the door, leading you into the open living space entryway, where you can toss off your flip flops and arrive into your sanctuary. The first thing you will probably notice is the 11 foot, scalloped brick ceilings done in the traditional Nayrit style. The well appointed kitchen has everything you need, including oven, air fryer, microwave, fridge, blender (for those delicious Mexican margs!), as well as an abundance of non breakable dishes (since we’re all barefoot all the time!).

The living room has a queen pull out couch, a 55 inch TV with Firestick so you can access any show or movie you like (including streaming live sports). The bedroom has a workstation, as well as 2 custom parota dressers, and a custom king sized parota bed with under-bed storage.

There are 2 bathrooms for you to use. The in-unit bathroom is complete with a natural stone vessel sink, brushed concrete design features, a river rock shower bed and rain shower head, with an abundance of towels. The second bathroom is shared and located in the backyard.

The backyard boasts a 14x16 foot therapy pool, perfect for water yoga, aqua aerobics, and/or enjoying a float with a beer! We have a swim trainer available to use as well, which makes swimming laps in the pool easy. There’s also an outdoor shower, toilet room, sitting area, and potable water station (so you’ve got drinking water onsite!).

We work remotely and understand the importance of excellent wifi. Which is why we have Starlink and a backup battery if the power ever goes out - so there is never a drop in our connectivity.

Other things to note:
- There is a a washer and dryer onsite for you to use.
- There is a shared barbecue, beach chairs, beach umbrella for your use.
- Maid service comes twice per month. (included in rent)
- The unit is on the second floor.
- When we are in Mexico, we live on the main floor with our very friendly dog Tocino.
- No smoking on site. (this includes vapes and cannabis)

NEIGHBORHOOD
Our house is located in the centre of the laid back Mexican village of Lo de Marcos, which is 1 hour from the Puerto Vallarta international airport.

The neighbourhood boasts over 50 restaurants, plus several local fruit stands, meat shops, fish shops, grocery stores, ATMs, bars, and cafes. There is a lovely centre square a block away that hosts events all year round (including Pickleball!). A gorgeous 2 mile beach is a 5 minute walk away (450m) and is perfect for tanning, swimming, fishing, snorkelling, surfing, boogie boarding and more! There are 2 other beaches within walking distance as well.

Puerto Vallarta airport is 1 hour away and is accessible by transit, taxi, and private driver.

Everything you need should be available in town. But if you need something special, you can zip to Puerto Vallarta (1 hour) or have it delivered (from Amazon or Costco). We also have a van and are happy to do car pool adventures when we're in town - or for you to use the van when we are not.

Hi we are Kevin and Morgan. We are Canadians who live in a sleepy beach town close to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We love, love, LOVE our village. The people are friendly. The pace of life is gentle. The 2 mile beach is pristine. We live in the centre of town which makes it very accessible to amenities (2 min walk to cafes, restos, groceries, etc.) and just a 5 min walk to the beach (which is at the end of our street). We built this home about 2 years ago and do our best to live here year-round. However, since we are both serial entrepreneurs, we have recently started several new businesses in Canada that require us travelling more so we have decided to open up our space to other wonderful people who also want to live the "Mexican Dream."
