This property is an idyllic home and getaway for anyone who enjoys nature, quiet, privacy, hiking, and gardening, with lots of space for creative work. I moved here from NYC when I had the good luck to find this post-and-beam home with its separate studio building. Country-like on a quiet street, and yet close to town where the celebrated Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art is located, with local culture, shopping, and restaurants. I have loved this ideal location and lifestyle, have had many wonderful gatherings of family and friends. Only little more than one hour by car or Metro North Hudson Line to and from NYC.
