Hi! I went through a breakup right before summer and am looking for roommates! There are two rooms available, one is cleared out but the other is still in the process of being cleared and not available yet. Though if you really want the other one I’m flexible and we can figure it out! The house is big, but the backyard is gigantic. I’ve never seen a rental with a backyard this big and the owner not putting up an ADU. There’s also a giant lemon tree that fruits pretty much year round and the lemons are incredible. This street is also pretty quiet, and a short walk to York.

Things are kinda in flux this month because I’m selling a lot of my things but I’m still available for visits. The landlord is also super nice and responsive.

I love cooking, so the kitchen is fully stocked. There’s laundry (washer and dryer) in unit. The only thing is there’s no built in dishwasher but I got a portable one, just need to set it up. I also have an orange cat named Mango who’s pretty chill. He’s a little anxious at first but gets super cuddly once he gets to know you. Unfortunately he can get territorial around other animals and in the past, he would spray everywhere while living with another cat.

There’s a garage but it’s full right now. I’m working on reorganizing and emptying it out. Parking is tandem in the driveway but could be side by side if we find another place for the trash and recycling bins. There are options!

I’m a kindergarten teacher at this humanistic, alternative school in Culver City. Love my job. I take the train there every day because I can’t do that commute in rush hour traffic both ways (I tried). The train is a 5-7 minute drive away. I’m gone by 7am and back around 6pm on weekdays. I usually spend my weekends volunteering/sailing at LAMI (Los Angeles Maritime Institute) in San Pedro, making art for my friends, going to the Elysian, dancing to soul/funk/disco, going to mostly jazz/funk but also other shows, and/or decompressing. I like hosting, but not too often. I specifically love themed parties, cooking for people and movie nights.
