Charming and unique home on 30-acres of private and peaceful land. The bones of the house date back to the 1840s, retaining the richness and mystery of the past, all with Shaker-inspired modern additions.

Our upstate home has two floors — with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 offices or workspaces, and a covered garage. Kitchen with beautiful soapstone counters. Cook while you look out onto nature.

Outside, an English-like meadow with views of the Taconic mountains; a brook that winds itself around the house and property. There is also a trail to a serene pond, not to mention 20-acres of wooded land that can be hiked or traversed. We are also a 7 minute drive to Cherry Plain State Park which has a great lake (see image), and trails.

The home sits at the helm where New York state, Massachusetts and Vermont come together. All said, you’re within a 30-minute orbit to a plethora of wonderful towns in all three states. In NY: Chatham, New Lebanon, Hoosick Falls, and Troy. In Massachusetts: Williamstown, North Adams, and Stockbridge. And Bennington, Vermont. Close to MASS MoCA, the renowned Clark Museum, the Shaker Museum, Art Omni, Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, and Williamstown Theater Festival. Skiing at Jiminy Peak is only a 15-minute drive from our home.

An one-hour drive to Hudson. A 2 hour, 45 minutes drive from/to NYC along the easy and peaceful Taconic Parkway.

We have good and fast wifi (Spectrum), dishwasher, TV with streaming, washer/dryer, new industrial-style gas range stove and kitchen set up for cooking. We love to cook! Also a propane grill outside.

A perfect place for artists, writers, creatives, or simply those who want to get out of the city and get contemplative and reconnect. We're looking for a kind and conscientious individuals, couple, and families — someone who will care and love the home and property as much as we do.
