Seeking a 6 month subletter for my furnished 1-bedroom apartment in central Greenpoint. Dates are somewhat flexible.
Utilities (electric, gas, internet) and renter’s insurance are included in the monthly price. The apartment is furnished with everything you need for living, working, and cooking with art, plants, and thoughtful design touches. A few perks listed below.
In the heart of Greenpoint, on a quiet side street off of bustling Manhattan Avenue, this is one of Brooklyn’s best neighborhoods for food, culture, shopping, and nightlife. The location has great train access—one short block from the Nassau G (fully running after repairs) and a 15 minute walk to the Bedford L. Walking distance to Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Long Island City.

Lister's Relationship to the Space
I've lived in my building a long time and have good relationships with the landlord and neighbors. I'll be in the city most of the time over the next six months if you need anything during your stay.
Rental requirements
A few things I’m looking for in a subletter:
*Hoping to rent to someone who is open to watering the plants once a week to keep them thriving. They are low maintenance.
*I’d prefer to rent to one person, but open to a couple as well. Space doesn’t make sense for roommates in its current setup.
*Everyone in the building is chill and respectful so I’m hoping to rent to someone with a similar vibe (the space isn’t a good fit for someone looking to host large, loud gatherings).
*The apt will be thoroughly cleaned but cats have stayed in the space over the years so if you’re severely allergic, it might not be the right fit. This might not be an issue but thought I’d flag.
*You will need to be able to walk up two flights of stairs to access the unit.
