I am looking for someone to share a 3 bedroom apartment. You will be living with two roommates on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a row house in Brooklyn. The apartment is quite large and bright, but still cosy. All three rooms are private and have their own entrance from the main stairway in the house. It is a perfect set up for three people who enjoy their privacy but also like the idea of not quite being alone in the city.

The available room is the only bedroom on the lower floor of the apartment, where you will also find the living room and kitchen. The bedroom has an attached private bathroom that is not shared with the other roommates.

Upstairs is where you will find two additional bedrooms and the bathroom they share. Both occupied rooms are lived in by mature, single professional women.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD (Prime location in Bed-Stuy)
Bedford Stuyvesant is one of the largest neighborhoods in Brooklyn. This area is on the cusp where Clinton Hill meets Bedford Stuyvesant and where you'll find a host of charming bars, cafes, restaurants and coffee shops. The house is located on a tree lined street that has a strong sense of community among people of all ages and backgrounds. It's a short walk to the G, A and C train, 30 minutes to Manhattan, and walking distance to multiple parks. The Bedford YMCA, Playground Coffee Shop, Artshack pottery and other active hubs of community life are a short jaunt in either direction.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE SHOOT ME AN EMAIL AND I CAN SEND YOU THE ADDRESS AND ANY OTHER DETAILS.

About This Lister

My name is Lena. I am an Adjunct Professor at FIT teaching Simulated Knitwear Design. Knitwear is one of my creative passions. I also enjoy making and teaching ceramics at Artshack Brooklyn, which is a couple of blocks from the house. I have a daughter who has just returned from California where she attended college, and I would say I am a laid back person who appreciates a harmonious life that balances family, friends, and creativity. I also love to travel and like learn new things.

I have always rented rooms. Maybe because of the way my house is set up. It just makes sense and It has always worked out for me and the people I rent to. For this reason, I have kept the rooms in the house large and open with lots of space, storage and light. (Each has space for a queen size bed, a desk and a seating area.) When you can't afford a one bedroom in New York, you should at least be able to live in a room that is not the size of a box. That kind of sums up the way I feel about being a homeowner and landlord.
