Hi! I'm Lisa, I'm looking for a roommate as my current sublet Is moving out! The room is on the smaller side, so the rent Is lower than mine, and I cover wifi & gas (we split electric) to make up for it!

The real selling point: directly next to the living room is a door to a HUGE private terrace - access to the ENTIRE roof of the building next door. The roof is fully furnished with a propane grill &, garden boxes filled with fresh herbs & produce in the summer months.

Amenities: Dishwasher in a beautiful kitchen with every cooking equipment and appliance known to man (I am a chef/baker). The room gets an abundance of natural light perfect for people with a green thumb. Other utilities: gas stove/oven, built in microwave, full size fridge, bar/wine fridge. I typically get the apartment professionally cleaned every 2 - 3 months, which costs less than $250 including tip.

70" AppleTV-equipped TV in the living room.

Bedroom comfortable fits a full size bed with space for a small desk, side table & dresser.

Only 4 units in the building so it's fairly quiet aside from street traffic.

Where: 1 block from the Clinton/Washington C train, 12 min walk to the G. A ton of amazing food nearby whether you walk down Vanderbilt for open streets or walk around the corner to well known spots like Sisters or Emily. Too many bars to name (Babel, Bierwax, Branded Saloon, Baby Jane) multiple grocery stores, bodegas. Target and Barclays only a ten minute walk away.

I work full-time as a video producer in food media, with a hybrid work schedule, and I make social videos for celeb chefs as a side hustle. I cook often, both for work and for pleasure, and often host barbecues on the roof with friends.

About You: As long as you're respectful, clean, calm, considerate, & open to splitting duties for keeping the common area tidy - you be you. 420 and LGBTQ+ friendly. I love to host dinner parties, barbecues, game nights, etc with friends, and use the roof In the warmer times for gatherings, but please know this is not the "party apartment". I respect my space, and everyone Invited into our home Is expected to do the same. Added some videos so you can catch the vibe.

Pets? A smallish dog Is so welcome but would love to meet them first. No cats (I'm allergic), no couples.

Move in Needs: To move you'd need to provide one month + security. This is a sublet, you won't be on the lease.
