Hello!

This small room is available for long-term rent in Bed-Stuy (near Lewis Ave and Halsey St) starting Oct 1, with option to move in this weekend. My roommate and I are the lease holders and are also moving into the space this weekend, so it will be new to all of us. Please note this bedroom is available to women only, and we cannot accommodate pets. Our goal is to fill the space as soon as possible.

The room can fit a full size bed and a desk OR dresser, probably not both. The room has a double wide sliding door closet, it’s the largest closet in the apartment. It also has a window. The room in the photos is the one that’s available, unfortunately we don’t have a picture of the closet but we do have more videos we can share once we connect. All of the bedrooms have heat/ac wall mounted units.

The apartment itself is a relatively small, 3 bed/1 bath. The kitchen, living and dining room are all one space. There’s roof access in the building. The building itself is incredibly well kept with a building manager on site who we’re told is very responsive. We currently do not have any living room/dining room furniture so if you do and want to bring it we can discuss this! The space isn’t huge so your furniture would have to suit it.

About us: we are both late 20s females working in creative fields and are looking to create an aesthetic space that we all feel good in. Decorating the apartment can be a fun project for us to meld our visions. I work in fashion design and Marley works in graphic design. I work M-F 9-5 and Marley works at a bar and coffee shop on top of her freelance design work so she’s out of the house either earlier or later than me. We both mostly work out of the house. You have to be tidy if you’re going to live with us, we will not deal with clutter or messes left behind on a regular basis. You also need to be communicative and responsible. No exceptions.
