We are two oil painters looking for a 1-2 more studio mates. We have 2 areas available, or they can be combined as one.

1. 115sq fr/ 31 ft wall space for $650/month.
2. 115 sq ft/14.5 ft wall space for $550/month.

Or option 3 is to combine these two areas (230 sq ft/35.5 ft wall space) for $1200/month.

We have been in our unit on the 3rd floor of this building off the Morgan L in Bushwick for 4 years. It is a great building with elevator access. Our unit is around 440 sq ft total has an east-facing window, 12 ft ceilings, and a slop sink in unit. Gas is included in the rent price but electric is not (it’s usually about $10 per person.) We do not currently have WiFi but that could be a discussion. Same goes for adding divider walls - if that’s something you know how to do, we’re open to it.

Annabelle and I work 9-5’s so we are most often in the studio workday evenings and weekends. We are in our late 20s/early 30s. We like to play music when we are in the studio together and maybe have a beer and a chat after a long day, but we don't get too rowdy. We have a calm and friendly vibe in the studio that we would love to continue.

We would be looking for some folks to move in for 10/1/24 and stay at least 6 months or more ideally until the lease is up on 10/1/25.

Hi I'm Isabelle (she/her) and I am a painter living in Ridgewood, working at SVA, and painting in Bushwick.

Myself and my studio mate Annabelle (also an oil painter) both work 9-5's and use the studio space most on weekday evenings and weekends.

We like to have a beer and play music aloud while we are working, though if you prefer quiet we can switch to headphones. The vibe in the building is casual but clean, there are some small shops/businesses on the first floor, along with other artists and tattoo studios throughout.
