I'm looking for a subletter from November 2-28 while I am away at an artist residency. Unfortunately, my lovely kitty Phoebe is not allowed to join me, but I am offering my apartment at a discount to someone who is also willing to care for her while I'm away.

The unit is a one-bedroom, garden-level apartment in a brownstone on a quiet street in Bed Stuy. It's about a 5-minute walk to the A/C train and near lots of neighborhood favorites like Saraghina, Trad Room, Chez Oskar, Milk and Pull, etc. Out the back door is a large backyard with lounge chairs, an outdoor sofa, hammock, and fire pit. Indoors you will find a comfy sofa and bed, TV, record player, work space with printer, and small, portable washer/dryer and dishwasher.

Phoebe's supplies are on auto delivery, and she has a fancy spaceship of a litterbox that makes cleaning very easy. You are not responsible for any pet-related costs.

Rent for the 26-day period is $2000 flat, all bills included. Sheets/towels/furnishings are all here, so you just need to bring yourself and your clothes! This could be a great option for someone transitioning to NYC.

I'm ideally seeking one quiet, clean individual, but couples will be considered. No additional pets, please.
