Bushwick, Brooklyn

Available

Size

475 sq. ft.

I found this wonderful space through The Listings Project, and am happy to be back here offering a sublet whilst I take a few months to travel.

1 bed 1 bath with a Juliette balcony in a relatively new building on a quiet street in Bushwick. One of my favorite things and the feature that my friends remark at when visiting is how much light it gets throughout the whole day, which is quite rare in nyc. The apartment is a good size with an open plan front room and a full kitchen complete with cooker, stove top, microwave, fridge. It also has a dishwasher and washer/dryer combo in unit. I have decorated it with tranquility and comfort in mind so it’s minimal with a super comfy sofa, splashes of dopamine decor, and lots of plants. I’ve also added some cute lighting including a color switching bulb in the bedroom, and a selection of dimmable warm and cooler lighting for the feature lighting in the kitchen which is perfect for hosting.

There is a desk and monitor with fast WiFi for home working.

The bedroom has a queen bed and fitted wardrobe space that has been emptied to give you maximum space. Bathroom has a full bath, filtered shower and handheld option. Mirror cabinet and drawers.

Downstairs there is a gym complete with weights, Peloton, treadmill, etc available to use. Upstairs there is a rooftop with a variety of furniture.

The location is ideal as it is just a 5 minutes walk to the L train, Wilson St stop. The J train is 15 minute walk away.

Fathers Knows Best is at the end of the street which is a great hangout super LGBTQ+ friendly, with different events happening most nights from drag bingo, trivia, movie nights, etc.

Three blocks away is Irving Square Park which has dog off-leash hours before 9am and after 9pm. At 8am every morning and 5pm every evening many local dogs and owners gather, which creates a lovely community feel which I haven’t experienced in other neighborhoods. The community is @irvingsqpuppers and was a real way of making friends in the neighborhood when I first moved here.

Also, worth noting that all the neighbors in the building are super friendly and a lot of us have become good friends that hangout together every now and then. So if you’re moving to the neighborhood or nyc (or in my case, country) for the first time, this is a good building to feel supported and make connections.

Super close to H0l0 and Nowadays around an 8 min walk away. 10 minutes to Jefferson Street for Bushwick’s hotspots. 20 mins to Williamsburg. 26 mins to the city.

Note that my dates are relatively flexible, especially the move out date which I currently set to April, if you need longer please write to me to discuss.

Re: accessibility - this is a second floor walk-up with no elevator.
