Despite being just a 15 minute walk from the Walk of Fame, the apartment is so peaceful that you can hear birds when you wake up in the morning as it's situated at the top of a hill where the road ends. I have the apartment professionally cleaned every three weeks and will schedule this to be just before your visit. It is a very cozy, comfortable place to stay. If you like to cook, it has everything you need.
Dates are slightly flexible. Ideally December 24-29 but I could accommodate Dec 27-29th.
Runyon Canyon is a 5 minute walk away. I recommend walking up at sunset or at night for a beautiful view of the entire city. It's very busy with people walking their dogs in the daytime but still a nice experience.
My three year old cats, Kimchi and Sriracha are very sweet and sociable short hairs. They get along well with each other and new people, although Kimchi is a little shy. You will need to feed the cats twice a day and keep their water dish full. The area around the kitty litter needs to be vacuumed daily. Please play with them as much as you can as they do not go outside.
This is a very walkable area and centrally located; if you plan to go both Downtown and Santa Monica, then this place is well situated for you. The red line takes you downtown easily. I can give you a street parking pass if you have a car with you.
Furnished, lots of light, wi-fi, coin laundry, gas stove, heating/air conditioning, hardwood floors, patio. 2nd floor walk up apartment. Friendly neighbors.
I am a visual artist and studio manager for an established artist. I travel about once a month to San Francisco so ideally I will find someone who has a similar work-travel schedule to LA that I could coordinate with on a routine basis. I love my home and I have made it into a comfortable escape from the intensity of the city. I'm Canadian and have lived in LA since 2021.
