I am looking for a lease takeover for my 1-bedroom apartment in Downtown Brooklyn! The landlord knows I am looking for someone.
The apartment is on the 25th floor of a modern apartment building. The building is on the border between Downtown Brooklyn and Fort Greene, and it's a 10-minute walk from Fort Greene Park. It's also within 10-minute walking radius of the A,C,F,Q,B,1,2,4,5 trains.
The building is dog-friendly, and it has a dog run on site. It also has a gym, a roof terrace, and a concierge desk staffed 24 hours. It has reliable elevators.
The apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room. It has a kitchen with modern appliances, including a dishwasher. It has in-unit laundry. The bedroom fits a queen bed.
I am leaving because of a relationship break-up. I used to split the rent with my partner, but now it is just me and this rent is a little steep. I use she/her pronouns.
current tenant
The person taking over the lease must be approved by the landlord and thus must have appropriate salary/credit per the rent.
Dogs and cats allowed (max 2). There is a pet deposit of $500, but no regular pet rent. The building is extremely pet friendly, and many people have dogs and cats.
