Hello Room Seekers! We're excited to fill a room in the heart of prime Williamsburg on Grand St. and Driggs Ave. This is a one month sublet, as a roommate is moving out early. There is not a possibility for extension, but great for someone who needs a temporary space.

Here's the tea:
• Small furnished bedroom with high ceilings and large window - great light for plants!
• The bedroom itself has a full bed and desk
• The bedroom has a walk in closet currently outfitted with an ikea shelving unit with a large amount of storage overhead
• The apartment has a big living room and an even bigger kitchen & dining room that gets tons of light
• We've got an outside roof deck area. Currently houses a hammock and soon some more outdoor furniture including plans for an outdoor movie projector
• Transportation is ideal -- 7 minute walk to the Bedford L train, 10 minute walk to the Metropolitan Av/Lorimer St G train, and 11 minute walk to the Marcy JMZ trains
• The area is unmatched -- Our place is near shops, nightlife, bars, great restaurants, workout studios, grocery stores (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's), Williamsburg Cinemas all within a few blocks. It's a 10 minute walk to Domino Park and 15 minute walk to McCarren Park.
• Our block has a ton of shops, rather than bars, so its pretty quiet at night
• There's a laundromat 2-3 blocks in every direction
• Utilities and internet ranges $80-$100 a month per person.

About you:
You are in late twenties or early thirties. Female preferred, but open to all. You are clean, considerate, stable income, and busy. You go to bed at a decent hour. You want your space to be chill, a place to come home to and semi-social. You have at least a hybrid work schedule (not ideal for remote workers or homebodies). Unfortunately, no pets.

About This Lister

Maria is a 34-year-old woman from California, working as a consultant in the city. She likes taking dance classes, politics, broadway shows, and concerts. Her spirit animal is a peacock. Favorite shows include Succession, Insecure, and Big Little Lies. Favorite neighborhood cheap eats include Vanessa's dumplings and Joe's pizza. Leaves for work at 8am, returns around 6pm.

Michelle is a 32-year-old woman originally hailing from London. She just moved to New York after living in Paris and is now working in design & strategy. She likes yoga, sailing and painting. She would like Jennifer Lawrence to play her in movie if that opportunity ever came up. Works from home.

We are a non-smoking, LGBTQ friendly, drug-free, leave-the-party-at-the-bar apartment. We're respectful, tidy, and get a cleaner once a month. We get along great in the space, and have separate lives outside of the apartment. We're both progressive, hard-working professionals, and hope you are too.
