Spacious apartment located on Halsey St. and Central Ave. conveniently located near the B26 bus, 10 min walk from the Halsey or Wilson L stop, and 15 min walk to Halsey JMZ train, 20 min walk to Ridgewood, and 45 min to Rockaway Beach. There is a small park close by (Irving Sq. park), a few staple bars/restaurants/grocery stores.

The room comes fully furnished with queen bed and hanging rack (or BYO furniture/open to discuss), AC unit (taken out during winter). The kitchen also comes fully stocked with room for your kitchen things as well. Also have dishwasher and microwave. The living room includes a pullout couch in case you have guests.

Pets are allowed on a case to case basis.

About Us:

Marc (he/him): 29 yr old former pro swimmer from Montreal (speaks French/Spanish) who works in music/live events and travels for work most of the time. Sweet, easy going person and considerate of common spaces and communication.

Katie (they/them): queer, nonbinary 39 yr old bartender/sound tech worker/artist planning on going back to grad school. enjoys reading, music, writing, and taking in all kinds of cultural activities around the city. Values intention and community. Sleep at partners apt at least 3 nights a week.

Who we’re looking for: someone clean, communicative, considerate of common spaces, and contributes to the household in an open and positive way. We are appreciative of differences in lifestyle and come together once in a while to have a drink, cook for each other, or have a stoop hang. We try to share in the resources we have when we can.
