Hi! We are looking for a third roommate to take over a room in our 3-bedroom Crown Heights apartment.
The apartment is a 4-minute walk from the Franklin Avenue 2/3/4/5/S station and a 10-minute walk to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. We’re just steps away from the shops, restaurants and bars of Franklin Ave! The apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, a dishwasher and is in great shape.
We have in-unit laundry, a basement with a bike rack, a large shared backyard with a furnished deck, as well as rooftop access. The room has beautiful exposed brick and a built-in bookshelf. It fits a queen bed, desk, and dresser comfortably, and houses a closet. The room itself is internal, but because we are on the top floor of the building, the large window lets in quite a bit of light. The dimensions are 9’5’’ x 11’4’’.
Our lovely roommate is leaving to move in with her partner and we are looking to fill her room with someone clean, personable, and responsible.

I'm Tess (she/her) - the roommate sadly leaving this wonderful apartment! I've lived here for the past 2 years after finding Ellie and Emily here on Listings Project and am only moving out because the timing is right to move in with my partner.
The vibe in the apartment is respectful, quiet, and clean - but very friendly. There's open communication, and we often leave treats in the kitchen for one another. We've rarely had issues with the apartment, but management is responsive and we have an established relationship with the super.
Current Tenant
This would be a lease takeover starting May 15 OR June 1st (flexible for the right person) at $1,333 per month through July. If you were to take over the lease on May 15, you would owe $667 for the remainder of the month. Lease renews August 1st. We are hoping to find someone who can not only sign for the remainder of this lease, but also commit to staying on for the next year (until August 1st, 2026). Rent will be raised to $1417 per person starting August 1st.
Utilities are not included and would be approximately $150 per person a month which includes electricity, gas and WiFi.
