Our lovingly restored 2-bedroom 1902 brick farmhouse is just a block from Forsyth Park, and an 8-minute walk to historic Uptown Kingston’s many cafes, restaurants and shops. The first floor features a spacious living room, eat-in kitchen w/ a chefs stove and a charming porch. Upstairs includes a primary bedroom with a queen bed, a 2nd bedroom (used as dedicated office space but can add a twin-sized bed), and a full bathroom. The backyard has a pergola, large lawn and a fire pit. Washer/dryer and ample parking complete this convenient & inviting home!

THE SPACE
My carpenter husband and I have been renovating our home for the past 3 years now. It’s been a serious labor of love and we're excited to share it with you!

The first floor has a spacious living room with a velvet sectional from Interior Define, built-in bookshelves, a large flat screen smart TV, and an antique hand-painted cabinet. There is a second exterior door that leads to a charming front porch. It's lovely to sit here with your morning coffee!

Our newly renovated eat-in kitchen is through an arched doorway behind the living room and features an imported Italian chef's stove, and all new appliances including a large double door refrigerator and Bosch dishwasher. My husband built all the cabinets from scratch in the shaker style that was popular in the area around the turn of the century. An antique multi-panel window separates the exterior door that leads to the driveway from the rest of the kitchen. The window above the apron-front sink overlooks the backyard and driveway.

Upstairs features a primary bedroom with a very comfortable queen sized foam mattress from Tuft & Needle.

There is a second bedroom that we use as a dedicated office, but just bought a twin-sized bed that we can put in there if you prefer.

The second floor also has a full-sized bathroom with a charming pedestal sink, floor-to-ceiling cabinets for storage, and a full tub / shower.

The full-sized basement features a new washer and dryer. (We use much of the basement for storage of our holiday decor and other items.)

We have a huge yard that’s split into two sections by the original carriage house that was also built in 1902. The first part of the yard has a pergola with the round table and chairs (stays out year round) featured in the photos, and the back lawn has the shed and fire pit.

We will probably have our work van parked at the very top of the driveway, but you can still fit 3 cards behind it! There is also ample street parking.
