I am offering a FURNISHED bedroom from February 1st - March 31st. Two months. My current subletter will be abroad.

The room is one of four in a beautiful and large apartment in the heart of Park Slope.

You will be sharing the house with just one other person, myself, a freelance writer and photographer. My room and office are adjoining and aiming to keep the 4th small room a multipurpose space for things like yoga, crying, a seance, art studio, hosting visiting family or friends, or even just to hang laundry. I consider myself tidy, covid conscious, and keep a chill and quiet lifestyle. I love a good dinner party or low stakes gather, but this is not a place to throw down or have sleepovers if you catch my drift. Plants and alcohol are welcome. Smoke products like weed, vapes, cigars, cigarettes, and incense not so much. No open flames.

In general, I’m looking for someone who aligns with the above and hopefully is even neater than I am, has a full time job, can pay rent on time, and is willing to share in keeping the apartment clean and comfortable.

The Room:

Beautiful sunny room with high ceilings, a window looking out onto a tree-lined Park Slope street, and wooden floors. Furnished with: a FULL sized bed and mattress, six drawer dresser, full length mirror, and AC window unit.

The Apartment:

- Incredible location. Steps away from all that Park Slope has to offer.
- Beautiful, corner, pre-war building with tons of natural sunlight.
- Great sunny fire escape facing the street. Perfect spot to soak up the sun, people watch, or get lost in a good book.
- Hardwood floors, 12-foot punched-tin ceilings, art deco accents (pretty light fixtures, etc)
- Large, sunny kitchen equipped with a dishwasher.
- One shared bathroom with excellent hot water system and strong water pressure.
- Bright and clean living room with large television.
- Walk to Prospect Park, Barclays Center, The Grand Army Plaza Farmer's Market, The Brooklyn Museum, and Brooklyn Botanic Gardens in under 10 minutes.
- Blocks away from many grocery stores - Whole Foods and gourmet grocery store, Union Market.
- Restaurants and shops everywhere you turn.
- Easy train access (closest stop is R at Union Street), walking distance to Atlantic Avenue, 4th Ave/9th Street, and Bergen stops.

RENT:

$1900 all in, inclusive of rent, shared apartment supplies, and utilities. To be paid directly to my subletter who you’ll meet once we start interviewing folks for the room.
