Large kitchen and dining area with tons of storage space leads out to a deck with beautiful views of the surrounding land.

The home is set far back from the road on a large, quiet, 5-acre lot with a mix of woods and grass lawn and lots of wildlife throughout – you'll only have neighbors on one side as a power corridor forms the property line on the other. Quick bike/walk to Elizaville Diner, Twin Lakes, etc. Pine Plains school district.

Rent includes use of separate 2-car garage onsite. Tenants are responsible for heat (oil), electric, wifi, yard maintenance/snow removal. Water is on a spring well and thus included.

Pets allowed with past references (max 2) – just note that the yard is not fenced in case you have pups that like to go walkabout!

$2600 (first month) + one month's security (total $5200) to move in plus the usual references, proof of income, etc etc. The legal occupancy is 4 people max, but since the only full bathroom is directly off a bedroom this may be best suited for a single or couple. Year-long lease preferred, but happy to discuss shorter-term 6-9 month leases (ex. for college faculty, seasonal workers etc).

I’m an artist and researcher based half-time between NYC and Hudson, but grew up nearby! My family has farming roots in Columbia and Dutchess counties dating back over 100 years.
