Located in South Bushwick, on a tree-lined block of townhouses built in 1899. The neighborhood is close knit and friendly; the block itself is mostly quiet but food and entertainment are just within walking distance.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a townhouse, in the middle of the block between Evergreen and Bushwick Avenue on Chauncey Street.

Amazing access to public transportation, multiple train lines cross Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens with L train, A & C train, and J/Z trains (runs express to Manhattan). Right next to a Citi Bike hub.

Bars, restaurants, grocery stores, laundry, coffee shops, music venues, entertainment, art, and beer gardens are all walking distance away. Lots of local eateries available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with outdoor dining and take out.

There is access to playgrounds, parks, and running tracks near the house. We are located near Highland Park and Evergreen Cemetery; these places are perfect for the early morning runs or mid-day walk breaks from working at home. Take a walk through the cemetery for a view of Manhattan. Stroll through Highland park; circle around the reservoir to bird watch or picnic.

The apartment has prewar height ceilings, large windows, and fantastic northern sunlight exposure, giving it a spacious feeling. You have to see it to feel it.

There are some historic architectural details, including some original moldings, two decorative fireplace mantles, and hardwood floors.

There is one windowless room in the middle of the apartment that can be used as an office space, guest bedroom for out of town friends or a giant walk-in closet/ additional storage room, whatever you may dream of!

The recently renovated bathroom features a fantastic rain shower, new fixtures, and subway & penny tiles to remind you that you live in the big apple.

The front of house has a garden & seating areas. Perfect for morning contemplations, coffee breaks, and laptop work.

Electronic keyless door entry. Locked security mailbox and package drop-off lockbox. Central air heating. Heat, water, and gas included.

About This Lister

I am a designer that worked in architecture, making big buildings. Now I have quit architecture, and have been making big loud speakers and custom ampliefiers in the Navy Yard for the last 5 years.

My partner is a musician that plays the drums and is a percussionist. He travels often between NYC to California for work, while I reside here year-round. Two of our friends live with us, a signer/songwriter that travels often and a medical student that has her head buried in the books most of the time. We are all mellow, low-key people in our early 40's that love our peace and quiet. We all live in the townhouse and you will see us often if we become neighbors.

If you would like to see the space, it will be my partner or I meeting you.
