Subleasing my 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in a pre-war building in Crown Heights.
Well-located: <1 min walk to the Franklin Ave 2/3/4/5 subway station (but apartment is not above the subway, you can't hear the train). 20 minutes to get into Manhattan. A 5 minute walk to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens (cherry blossom season in April!). Super close to the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park. Lots of great restaurants and retail spaces off Franklin Ave. A nice Union Market grocery store 5 minutes away.
Well-maintained space: Washer/dryer in unit. Fast internet. Dishwasher. Window A/C units. TV. Hardwood floors. Lots of plants. Good natural light. 4th floor walk up (sounds worse than it is).
Good WFH space: The apartment is technically a 3 bedroom, but have been using one of the bedrooms as a living room. Would recommend using one bedroom to sleep and the other as an office/extra room.
I'm the current tenant, work in tech, and use the pronouns she/her/hers.
I really love this apartment and have a good relationship with the super and the building. I love the neighborhood and running/walking through Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanical gardens.
I'll be showing the space and won't be living onsite. But I will be available by call or text if you need me. I really want to hold onto and maintain this space, because I think it's really great, and I'm looking for a thoughtful, respectful sub-leaser to live in the space.
