Hi there I'm looking for two new roommates to sign onto a 7-month lease with me. I've lived here for a year, love it and both old roomies are on to new things :)

Sterling House is our lovely apartment in a 4th floor walkup in Prospect Heights! I'm looking for two new roommates to sign on to an official 7-month lease with option to extend* starting on Nov 1, 2024 - May 31, 2025. This apartment has stayed a good deal because it hasn't been "on the market" in over a decade. So I'd love to find roomies who could see them resigning in June as well, bringing in more roomies, and continuing the Sterling House tradition :)

Our spot is in amazing location 2,3,4,5 trains are a 6 minute walk away at Eastern Parkway/Brooklyn Museum stop, 8 minute walk to the ACE, and 13 minute walk to the Q/N! We’re 8 minute walk from the entrance to Prospect Park/Botanical Gardens, and 10 minutes from Crown Heights and Park Slope.

We have two rooms pictured that are about the same size--up for grabs, both with lovely window views of a courtyard below. Looking for two humans who are kind, respectful, clean, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and good communicators Doesn't hurt if you also have a green thumb to help water the plant babies :)

Washer/Dryer are in the building (basement) and this price doesn't include internet/utilities which on average are $50-65/month. DM me if you are interested! 🌱

*Note: The lease was negotiated to be shortened from 12 to 7 months for my previous roomies grad school schedule. Even though she's not able to sign on anymore, I'm moving forward with it since we already negotiated a really low rent increase. However, if we'd like to move back to a 12 month after I'm sure that will be an option :)
