I am renting out my Montmartre apartment for 2 weeks (15 days)
Feb 18 - March 4 2025
Available to rent for 1-2 people, pets negotiable.
The entire second floor of a small building with only 6 apartments. 50m2, bright, open (very well stocked) kitchen, dining area with large table, minimalist vibe. I keep it very clean.
Nice size bathroom with walk-in shower. Recently renovated.
Technically a 2 bedroom, however, I have turned one room into a sitting/TV area. The bedroom has a nice size wardrobe and an ultra-comfortable 160x200 (a bit bigger than a queen but smaller than a king) high-end memory foam bed (comparable to Lyssa). It’s designed to keep you cool at night. Quality sheets and pillows.
Nespresso machine, air fryer, large flat screen television (if you have a VPN, you can mirror anything), washing machine, Dyson air purifier and vacuum...Everything you need for a cozy stay in Paris.
The building is located on a short one-way cobblestone street.
Quiet.
Closest Metro’s are Chateau Rouge (4), Jules Joffrin (12) and Lamarck-Caulaincourt (12)
Buttes Montmartre is a vibrant area on the back side of Sacré-Cœur at the bottom of the hill. No climbing is involved, however, there are still plenty of narrow cobblestone streets and stairways to find that bend their way up to the top.
A very bohemian neighborhood with random street art, hidden gems, up-and-coming restaurants, and a huge natural wine presence without the tourists but with plenty of friendly residents who know each other by name.
It is slowly becoming more gentrified, so is super convenient but still far from touristy... Wonderful stores carrying only local and seasonal produce, some amazing undiscovered restaurants and loads of independent wine shops. Very charming and well-connected to the center of Paris.
Rent for the 15 days is €1200 which includes: electricity (up to €60 for the time you are here), water, building charges (trash/recycling bins/common area cleaning), super high-speed internet, renters insurance, cable, check-in and check-out cleaning and a small percentage of my yearly d'tax habitation. Just want to be transparent as to why the cost is non-negotiable.
Subletter agreement/contract and deposit
I am a private chef that splits my time between New York and Paris. I’m hoping to sublet to someone who will take good care while I’m gone. I have found amazing people on here in the past and prefer the small network of word-of-mouth to Airbnb type platforms. Happy to answer any questions and do a video walk-through
Tenant
Sub-letter agreement, copy of passport, and a deposit which is mainly to cover lost keys.
References would be great
Hypoallergenic dog ok. Extra security deposit and I would ask you to cover couch with a sheet.
