Looking for someone to sublet my room in a charming 3-bedroom apartment starting February (Exact Feb move in date flexible). This is a perfect spot if you’re seeking a welcoming, respectful, and comfortable living environment! I've lived here for 4 years and am only leaving because I'm ready to live on my own. I love my roommates and this apartment & I'm certain you will too! :)

This lovely 3-bedroom/1 bath apartment is in a lively neighborhood in Crown Heights, right off Franklin Ave! There's tons of great bars and restaurants in the neighborhood we're about a 20-minute walk from Prospect Park as well. It's a super friendly neighborhood and we've gotten to know a lot of our neighbors since moving in 4 years ago. The apartment is rent stabilized and we've yet to get a yearly increase over the minimum amount!

The bedroom is very large with hardwood floors, a spacious closet, a massive window, and enough room for a queen bed, desk, dresser(s), bookcase, etc. Truly have felt so spoiled by the amount of space in this bedroom. The apartment itself gets a lot of light and has a separate living room and kitchen. So, if you're anti-open floor plans, this is the place for you!

Some more logistics:
- My roommate, Josie, has a cat named Bug who is a perfect baby angel.
- We're on the 3rd floor of a four-floor walk-up.
- The building does not have laundry, but there are several laundromats within a 3 min walk from the apartment
- no central air

The apartment is in a great location transportation-wise:
- 10 mins from the Franklin C, and the Nostrand AC
- 8 mins from the Franklin 2345
- 2 mins from the S shuttle
- close to lots of bus lines

Hi! I'm Janice (28, she/her, Sagittarius) and have lived in Crown Heights for 4 years, and NYC for 10!

Details on my two roommates remaining in the apartment below:

Josie (29, she/her - trans woman, Aquarius) who works at a media publication and loves film, art, games, and concerts!

Abby (28, she/her, Sagittarius) is a senior research analyst and is also in grad school at night for public policy at The New School! She loves traveling, music, reality TV, clothes, and hanging with friends!

Honorary roommate, Bug (3, she/her, cat, Leo) works from home full time and loves attention/kisses.

Josie is on a hybrid work schedule and works from home 2-3 days a week. Abby works from home full-time, but attends in-person grad classes at night (queen!). She also has a membership to a coworking space a block down where she does a lot of her studying! It's usually pretty quiet during the day but we enjoy hanging out at night to eat dinner, drink a glass of wine, or watch some trash reality TV on occasion. We enjoy socializing with friends for dinner or movie nights in the apartment sometimes and Josie has a girlfriend in NJ that stays over on weekends every few weeks.

We're good friends, respectful, and very inclusive! :) Overall, we're very welcoming and maintain and fun & communal atmosphere!
