I offer a 5 week Creative Challenge, designed for those with busy schedules, that takes place mainly in a private Facebook group, with weekly Zoom creation calls. WE BEGIN MAY 1st, which is the deadline to join! More below:
IS YOUR CREATIVITY ROTTING IN A METAPHORICAL BASEMENT?
TBH, same. Let’s do something about it. The world is on fire and we can’t afford to allow our fear to call the shots anymore. The Unhinged Creative Challenge is calling you. This is not paint-by-number or promise of anything remotely perfection-adjacent. This is a violent, messy, glorious creative reckoning.
For 5 weeks, we are:
🔮 Burying perfectionism alive in an unmarked grave.
🔮 Conducting a séance to summon your best ideas (they’ve been waiting for you).
🔮 Unleashing raw, unfiltered art—so real your inner critic will need therapy.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
If you’re creatively stuck and sick of overthinking instead of actually making stuff—this is for you.
If you’ve felt sheepish identifying as a writer, musician, or poet. You know you have it in you but wish you had more evidence.
If you spend a lot of time daydreaming about ideas you have but freeze when it comes time to put pen to paper.
If you already write a good amount but feel like it’s missing something…missing your “essence” or perhaps you’re not going deep enough or not getting to the point as you wish you could.
If you have a million ideas but struggle taking them to the finish line.
You’re a weirdo like me and want to create in a community of weirdos for inspo.
WHAT YOU GET:
✅ 4 writing prompts per week – creative fire-starters to obliterate blank page paralysis (songwriting, poetry, storytelling—whatever you need to get unstuck).
✅ 1 optional cowrite per week – because screaming into the void is more fun with friends.
✅ Weekly Zoom creation calls – a structured but chaotic space to summon inspiration and make stuff, together.
✅ Optional group chat – for idea swaps, artistic meltdowns, and unhinged support.
THE END “GOAL”:
The point of this challenge is not to have a perfectly polished finish piece, but rather, to fall in love with the process of creation. To tune into your your unique creative heartbeat and rhythm. To both honor your nature and push yourself in ways that feel brave, not overwhelming. Show up fully, and by the end of these five weeks, you won’t just have fresh work to show for it. You’ll have started to rewire your brain to create without all the second-guessing. You won’t just “get unstuck”—you’ll make fearless, gut-punching art that actually excites you again.
Your art might take the shape of:
✨ a song
✨ a poem
✨ a short story
✨ a lyric
✨ an essay
✨ an interpretive dance
✨ a letter to a loved (or hated) one
✨ a visual piece
✨ or something totally unexpected
You’re encouraged to explore freely, though most folks tend to work with art that’s written, spoken, or sung.
This is your creative jailbreak. LET’S GO. The séance begins May 1st.

Hi, I’m Justina—award-winning singer-songwriter, creative instigator, and your new favorite blend of glitter and guts.
I’ve written songs for toddlers (hi, Cocomelon), teens, and full-grown adults with big feelings. My music’s won awards from Carnegie Hall and the UK Songwriting Contest, and I’ve performed everywhere from Lincoln Center to late-night comedy clubs making up songs on the fly. Chaos? Absolutely. Magic? Also yes.
I’ve taught songwriting in prisons, music schools, and Zoom rooms. My favorite thing is helping people create without shame, overthinking, or the need to sound impressive. You don’t need to be “a real artist”—just a little brave and a little unhinged.
Wanna join my next creative challenge? It’s weird. It’s healing. It’s hilarious. And it might just be the most fun you’ve had with your art in years.
I’ve been teaching songwriting and leading creative programs for over 10 years. I got my Master’s in Media Writing & Production from the University of Miami, taught college courses there, and have since worked with everyone from high school prodigies to incarcerated men to adults rediscovering their voice.
I started doing this because I noticed how many wildly talented people were blocked by perfectionism, shame, or just the belief that they weren’t “real artists.” My job? To lovingly dismantle all that nonsense. Whether it’s in a classroom, a prison, or a Zoom room—I help people make art that’s raw, honest, and way more powerful than polished.
It’s part teaching, part cheerleading, part witchy soul excavation… and I’m really good at it.
