hello! i lease a storefront (record store) in bushwick and i'm looking for some rent relief via subletting 1/2 of my basement (space is roughly 15ft x 7ft.) to either an artist/maker/creator or for storage. i use the other half of the space for storage and for cleaning records but am seldom down there during opening hours. but there is no door leading to the basement, so it's not completely private. you would also have access to the mini fridge and bathroom on the main floor. there is also a large, commercial sink you can use. utilities and wi-fi included!

i'm open to various arrangements but most likely, to begin with, you can have access while i'm there, which is 6 days a week (closed tues) from about 11am to 10pm. as trust builds, i would consider a security deposit to give you your own access code and key for 24 hour access. would also consider renting as storage space for books, records, bicycles, etc etc. basement is climate and humidity controlled!

there are two shop cats on premises which you would have FREE unfettered access to and who are non destructive. :-D
price range is $500-$750/mo depending on your situation.
eg: access 1-2 days/wk = $500/mo, 3-4 days/wk = $600/mo, 5-7 days/wk $750/mo.

NOTE: photos show available space w my desk and some other junk there to show the relative size of the space. it will all be cleared out of that area for whomever rents it.
