Trestle Art Space is a community of artists in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Our artists work in a variety of media including paint, textiles, digital and more. We occupy the 1st floor and part of the 2nd floor of a commerical buiding at 18th Street and 3rd Avenue. Our studios range in size with the smallest measuring 8'x10' and the largest measuring 12'x18'. In total our space has 86 units (53 on 1st floor, 33 on second floor).

- All studios are private with locking door. 16 of our 86 studios have windows
- Our space has a communal slop sink, kitchen and 2 bathrooms
- Private courtyard for use of members
- Small gallery space for artists to reserve for exhibitions and for photographing work
- 3-month minimum contract (after 3 months rolls into a month to month contract with a 30 day termination required), one month security deposit required.
- Our space is a quiet one so not appropriate for artists who need to make/take calls or collaborate a lot. Some quieter tools/machinery are ok (i.e. sewing machine, occasional drilling/hammering) but noisy machinery/tools (i.e. no 3D printers) are not permitted.
- Due to the communal nature of the space, strong smelling materials are not allowed. No spray paint.
