We are two young artists/working professionals- one male, one female- looking for a third roommate for our beautiful historic Sugar Hill apartment. Move in is February 1st through October 31st, with potential to extend. Candidates interested in signing the lease with us will be given preference.

The building is pre war with an elevator and pretty courtyard. Our apartment is located on the sixth floor, with the available room above the quiet courtyard. Our apartment gets plenty of natural light, and I always ensure there are flowers in the shared spaces! There is one bathroom and a spacious living room/kitchen (includes dishwasher). Laundry is conveniently located on the ground floor, with two laundromats directly across the street. We are within walking distance to several cafes, restaurants, gyms, grocery stores and parks. Riverside is also close if you enjoy a run or walk along the Hudson. Trains are easily accessible- about 5 minute walk to the A/C D/B lines with a 10 minute walk to the 1. Downtown takes about 20 minutes via express trains.

The room comes furnished with a full sized bed, bed stand, bookshelf, storage stand, A/C unit and spacious closet. Utilities are not included in rent but usually run under $100/month (in the summer we factor in A/C usage, so no one is unfairly paying more than they use). While we love animals, one of us is allergic, so- with deep regret- we cannot have pets.

We are looking for a fellow artist but will consider anyone who is kind and respectful. Since moving in, we’ve become friends who enjoy talking and spending time together when our schedules allow. While we’d love for you to join us, there is never any pressure to do so!
