This is a one-of-a-kind historic apartment in a Moroccan riad style building affiliated with the Theosophy Society of early Hollywood. Perfect for a writer or artist seeking an oasis from city life. It’s full of nature on a remote canyon street yet mere minutes from Hollywood and freeway access. There are 5 other units in the complex but the apartment shares no common walls so feels like it’s own little home. The other tenants include a film director, a writer, a wardrobe stylist and a musician. All are very respectful. Looking for someone who will appreciate my home and be a respectful neighbor. It shares a courtyard with another unit with a dining table and has a private back patio with wonderful panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills with glorious sunsets. Comes with a private gated parking spot. The apartment is a one bedroom with stylish global bohemian decor. All utilities included as well as high speed internet and streaming subscriptions on the TV. The kitchen has many cooking amenities. There is a queen size bed with all linens and towels provided. The bathroom is nice size and features an old fashioned deep tub/shower. There is a portable washing machine that hooks up to the sink and a large drying rack. There is also a local pickup laundry service you can hire if you prefer to send out or drop off. There is a mid-century fireplace to cozy up. The elevated grounds get fantastic views and great light throughout! I have wonderful plants- most are fine to be watered every week -12 days, so some plant care is needed while I'm away. If plant care is not your thing, please specify and my neighbor can stop by at your convenience and maintain them. Looking for a fellow artist or nature lover who will appreciate my home and take absolute great care of it. This is a non-smoking and pet-free rental. Happy to leave information about the many sites and nature opportunities only a stone’s throw away! Regarding accessibility, there are a few steps from the driveway to the main entrance.
