Hi! I'm Alex, a 30-something long time Park Slope resident and leaseholder on the apt. My wife Hanna and I work in tech and both have backgrounds in the arts/humanities. We're both runners -- the apt is close to beautiful Prospect Park, and we run there many days a week!
I have lived in the building for 8 years. It's an amazing space for the right tenant -- we're hoping to find someone that appreciates the beauty and charm of the space and is okay without amenities like a dishwasher/dryer (many laundromats close with pickup/drop off available). The neighborhood is great, we have a nice community feeling in the building -- the landlord and her family live on the first floor, and another other couple lives on the second floor of the 3 unit building. We're all friendly and have dinner together about twice a year.
We're looking for a year sublet to start, with a strong possibility of a multi-year sublet arrangement -- we're moving to Sweden where Hanna's from, I have a job opportunity in Stockholm with my company and we'd like to spend a couple years closer to family. We love Park Slope and the apartment, and so the idea is to sublet for a few years during this next chapter in Stockholm while away.

- Rent payments will go directly to the landlord
- Sign 1 Year sublease agreement with potential for multiple year extension
