1 bedroom available in my 2 BR apartment. We have the entire top floor — with a private balcony filled with plants, vegetables, and even a hammock. The bedrooms are on separate sides of the apartment so it’s a sweet shared layout with tons of natural light.

Your room is the bedroom in the back of the apartment so it's very quiet (like the suburbs quiet). Currently, the room is fully furnished with a queen bed, but you are welcome to bring your bedroom furniture if you already have some. Own gorgeous bathroom too - fancy showerhead!

There is an in-unit washer/dryer, large and beautiful kitchen with dishwasher, and even a garbage disposal. I cook a lot so we have a great kitchen with every spice and appliance you will need — but more always welcome, we have the space!

We are within 2 blocks of Von King Park (great dog park), the G at Bedford-Nostrand, and not too far from the A/C at Nostrand Ave. We know our neighbors by name & our block is one of the prettiest in Bed Stuy.

I’m looking for a wonderful human to share this space with for around 2 months. I want to open my place up to someone who will become a good friend and is willing to make this place a home together (even for a short time).

I'm Amy (she/her) and I've been living in this apartment for 5 years. I'm the primary lease-holder and I LOVE LOVE this unicorn apartment. I want you to love your home too. I'm very welcoming and love hosting folks.

I'd be living here with you. I’m in my late 30’s and I’ve been in NYC for almost 20 years. I work a 9-5 in non-profit marketing, remotely from the apartment and I do travel often. I also have a typical NYC relatively-busy lifestyle, so it’s nice to keep the apartment as my happy space. Since I work from home during the day, it usually works best if my roommate is out of the space for a lot of the day.

I enjoy composting, biking, running, fresh produce from the Park Slope Food Coop, and yoga. I'm extroverted (ENFP) and a Scorpio. I love cooking and hosting friends for dinner nights. I'm relatively clean in the common spaces, especially in the kitchen (my big rule for myself is no dishes left overnight).
