This expansive 1,300-square-foot, light-filled studio is nestled in the vibrant Greene Street Artists Cooperative, located in Philadelphia's historic Germantown neighborhood.
This stunning space boasts a 1000-square-foot main level and an additional 300-square-foot loft, offering ample room for both creative work and comfortable living.
A large closet, originally designed to be a photographer’s darkroom, provides flexible storage options or could be returned to a darkroom.
Facing east, the studio is bathed in gorgeous morning light, with the windows that face Howell Park’s old oak trees. It also has a private outdoor space right outside the unit. It's very private, but also feels open and airy at the same time.
The communal space features a spacious lawn adorned with mature trees, a community garden (where each member has their own plot), a cozy fire pit, and a secure gated parking area.
Additionally, the building offers shared, coin-operated laundry facilities for added convenience.

I'm Dara, a theater artist here in Philadelphia.
Although I love living at GSAC, I am selling my sweet spot to buy a house with my partner, who works on cars and needs a garage.
I am the current owner of the unit, and co-owner of the building, as it is a cooperatively-owned building.
