Aesthetically-inclined writer looking to sublet my gorgeous Northern Brooklyn apartment for 3 weeks over the holidays from December 24th - January 13th (there's a little flexibility on dates). Will consider shorter stays, but priority given to those who will stay the full length of the sublet period.
The apartment is a beautiful furnished one-bedroom on a tree-lined street with a separate dining room/office (with dining table, 3 chairs, and a desk), a living room, a large kitchen (with new gas stove & new dishwasher), bathroom (with soaking tub), and a washer & dryer in unit. If you like music there's also a record player, keyboard, and guitar. There's a Nespresso machine, percolator, french press, teapot, Nutribullet, and air fryer. Decor is Art Deco mixed with Contemporary ... wherein modern meets handwoven Georgian carpet meets chandelier meets bay window meets lots of great books & art.
I'm very neat/clean and responsible and looking for the same (shoes off at the door). Unfortunately, no pets are allowed; no exceptions. Willingness to water plants needed. Looking for tenant/s coming with just a few suitcases and not as a transitional place with lots of belongings or furniture since the apartment is fully furnished.
It’s in a wonderful residential neighborhood, green & lively. A few blocks from the water with great Manhattan views (especially at sunset), as well as close walking distance to 4 parks. Subway (G line) is a 2-minute walk (& L line a 15-20 minute walk), and it's an easy jaunt to Manhattan. There’s a lot of running space, & even a great (free) running club that does group runs all days of the week (mornings & nights) called North Brooklyn Runners. There are also several gyms in the neighborhood. It's a nice bike ride into LIC or down into Dumbo and there are many Citibikes nearby. Lots of great restaurants, bars, grocery stores, boutiques, and things to do.
$2200 for the 3 weeks ... includes all utilities & fast WiFi (substantially discounted from normal rent). More photos available upon inquiry.
I'm an adventuresome, curious, art-of-every-kind loving writer and professor.
