Asking for $3450/mo + utilities (wifi $80, electric)
This is in an apartment I've been leasing since pre-pandemic in rent controlled building so you'll be paying ~$1k+ below market.
You have a view of the One World Trade in a fully-furnished, very sunny apartment. Huge windows in the living room and bedroom provide all the light you would want.
I cook a lot so you'll have everything you need in the kitchen.
I have a high quality memory-foam queen sized mattress in the bed and can provide sheets, pillows, etc. There is also a tv with Google Chromecast in the bedroom.
The living room includes a two-tv set up that I've found personally useful and also has a 48" standing desk that you can utilize for working. Inputs and wires can be made available if you bring a monitor/want to hook up your own laptop. Let me know!
Trains:
ACF, BQR, 2345 trains are all within a 12 minute walk.
5 minute walk from the Brooklyn Wegman's location
15 minute walk from the water in Dumbo
20 minute walk to the promenade in Brooklyn Heights
The BQUE makes getting to Willimasburg and Lower Manhattan a 5-10 minute journey.
Building amenities:
• Pool (indoor, 3ft, divided into lanes)
• Gym
• Rooftop with direct views of the city
• Doorman, package room
Apartment amenities:
• In-unit washer/dryer
• Dishwasher
• Ice maker in the fridge (my favorite)
• Large built-in AC units in living room and bedroom.
I'll have the apartment professionally cleaned before you move in. I'm very flexible on dates especially on the back end - looking to travel for a bit.
I'm a mid 30s UX/UI designer that has been living in NYC since early 2016. I've lived all over this city in my time here and am now looking to explore the world a bit more.
I recently got a fully-remote job and am looking to take advantage of it by subletting my place and traveling for a while. This is why my schedule is flexible.
I have a great relationship with the doormen/maintenance workers in the building so anything that goes wrong with the apartment will be fixed within 24hrs.
No issues with management, they are responsive and caring. Which, if you've lived here for a while, know is not the norm.
Tenant
I'll need one month's rent up front. I also require $185 additional up front and when you depart ($370 total) so I can have the place professionally cleaned before and after your stay. I am open to discussion about these renting requirements.
As mentioned above, I am flexible on the dates and will most likely be willing to extend.
I have a dog as well so all good here with pets!
