I am a woodworker/artist looking to rent a share of my wood shop. I am also looking for a part time skilled wood worker to ocassionally help with my business. I am open to discussing an arrangement where the person can pay a rent contribution to use my shop for their own projects and when I need help with my projects, they can work off a portion of their rent contribution or waive it entirely. I am often doing jobs where most of the building is on site so there are months when I am barely using the shop at all and it would be all yours. This is not for someone looking to run a significant, established business out of the shop or to build large pieces. It is more for a hobby builder or someone with a more limited business making furniture or cabinets.
Shop is equipped with a Sawstop cabinet saw with large outfeed table, Festool miter saw built into an excellent miter station, a 16", 3.6 HP bandsaw with top quality resaw blade, 14", 1.25 HP band saw, 16" Felder jointer, 20" planer, radial arm saw, small lathe, router table, drill press, festool sanders, and more.
Looking to find someone respectful, who likes to keep a work space tidy and in good working order.
Creative woodworker/ artist.
Current tenant
Would write up an agreement to be signed. No long term commitments necessary but would need a month notice if the person would like to move on.
