Looking for new roommate to join on lease starting January 11th.
Because of the quick turn around time, serious candidates only please! Will be back in town to schedule visits, with the goal of having the lease signed in the first week of January!
I currently have two rooms available in a three-bedroom apartment in Carroll Gardens. I'm ideally looking for one person to take on both rooms, one as a bedroom and the other as office/studio space combined for total rent of 1900. Perfect for someone who primarily works from home!
THE SPACE
- Located in Carroll Gardens two blocks away from the F/G Carroll Street stop
- Fourth-floor walk up
- Converted railroad-style building with eight units total, apartment layout has kitchen and bathroom on one end followed by two bedrooms a long hallway, and then living room and the larger bedroom at the other end so a fair degree of privacy!
- PET FRIENDLY!! (I have a very friendly sometimes shy cat myself)
CLEANING/UTILITIES
Heat and water are included but utilities such as electric, wifi, and gas aren't included. There is no laundry in the unit or building, but there are multiple laundromats within a two-block radius. Generally speaking though, utilities average 40-100 a month if AC is running 24/7!
Hi! I'm a 25 year old visual designer working in the museum space. I've lived in the apartment for four years, this will be my fifth and really love the space and neighborhood. My company is work from home but we have an office that I try to go into so in and out of the space during working hours. In general, I try and keep the living/common spaces tidy but am not a neat freak, it's nice to be aspirational but life happens! I value peaceful, quiet, living spaces and generally my cat and I keep to our side of the building but am more than happy to share a meal, catch up after work, or watch a movie now and again!
