Hello Everyone - I'm looking for the right person to live in my phenomenal Buck's County sanctuary while I am on tour. The place is brilliantly quiet and peaceful — ideal for musicians or writers. It's a great get-away from the city (NYC or Philly). This is a fully furnished house, though there is some room for small pieces here and there. Possible lease take-over in which case you could bring all your stuff. Let’s talk. The house is available starting April. The minimum stay is flexible.
This wonderfully authentic, sweetly renovated 1700's stone farmhouse sits on acres of rolling hills with a pond, just 4 miles up the road from the quaint and fun towns of New Hope, Pa, and Lambertville, NJ, and is only 1.5 hours away from Brooklyn or Manhattan and about 45 minutes from Philly. On the first floor there’s a big kitchen with a large island, dishwasher, 2 ovens, and a large living room with a great working fireplace. There's also a music room with another huge fireplace. The house is fairly large (2700 sq. ft.) and has original wide plank wood floors, original stones, etc. There are three other small houses scattered on this property, such that one feels not totally alone, but I have rarely seen my lovely neighbors.
There are guitars in the house, an upright studio Yamaha piano, a huge back porch. There’s a washer-dryer in the basement, excellent heat, and central air. Also a Weber grill and several fire pits. Endless outdoor space.
I think the photos will pick this up where I leave off. FaceTime tours can work. Yes, it's as wonderful as it sounds.
Looking forward to meeting you!
I'm a singer/songwriter, performer and touring recording artist. I love this house. It's great to work in or to replenish myself – it is a very soul-nourishing. I'm looking for a like-minded person to live here. Perhaps even a chance to take over the lease depending on a few things, if you found it as incredible as I do. Let's talk. My situation is flexible. No uptight people ; ) It's ideal for a musician, artist, writer. Or it can simply be a great get-away from the city (New York or Philly) I rent the house from a wonderful landlord who lives nearby. But I will be the one to meet you and show you the space. Sincerely, Bet Williams
