I collaborate with artists and entrepreneurs to create compelling designs and comprehensive branding packages. I can help you envision your brand identity from the ground up, or refine an existing brand. I can help you refresh your website or create one from scratch. As a dual designer and artist with over 20 years of experience I also have that keen eye and awareness of art world trends that can help you elevate your presence as an artist, curator, or gallery. And as a freelancer for 15 years, I have a deep understanding of small businesses and the challenges of self employment and entrepreneurship.
I am originally from Texas and have been in the NYC area for 15 years.
I graduated with my Masters in Communications design from Pratt Institute and also hold an MFA in Painting and Printmaking from The University of Texas at Tyler.
Over the years I have had the good fortune to work with a ton of prestigious clients and agencies such as Saatchi and Saatchi, Whole Foods Market, New York Magazine, Merck, and The Wall Street Journal. I have also worked on projects for a wide variety of global brands including Cheerios, Barnes and Nobles, The Episcopal Church, Tide, Enfamil, Colgate-Palmolive, and Barron’s.
Additionally, I have taught at various colleges across the greater New York City area including Pratt Institute (current) Hofstra University, and CUNY.
I am also an actively exhibiting visual artist. When I am not working on visual art or design projects, you can find me experimenting in the kitchen, camping and hiking, watching scary movies, or hanging out with my rescue "Void," Ruthie.
I am an artist and art director with 20 years of experience creating compelling designs and campaigns for major brands, smaller brands, and artists and cultural institutions. I hold an MFA in painting and an MS in communications design, so I have a unique understanding of both the commercial and art worlds.
