Perched atop a charming 1920s Altbau in Lichtenberg, this bright, top-floor apartment is the perfect summer retreat—blending historic character with modern amenities. Located on the 5th floor (no elevator), the space is filled with natural light from both the east and west, making it a sun-drenched haven throughout the day.

The apartment includes three distinct rooms:

- A bedroom with a king-size bed
- A home office featuring a workstation and a day bed (convertible to a single bed)
- A living room with direct access to a rooftop terrace

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, and the bathroom features both a shower & bathtub, plus in-unit washer & dryer.

We are looking to rent for the entire month of July and/or August with a minimum 3 week stay at 75 USD/Day.

Located in East Berlin, Lichtenberg offers a laid-back, residential atmosphere with a mix of local charm, culture, and history—ideal for those seeking a more authentic Berlin experience away from the tourist crowds.

Just steps from the apartment, you’ll find a grocery store, and one block away, a local ice cream shop, café/bar, and a park —everything you need for a comfortable stay right in the neighborhood.

History lovers will appreciate the nearby Stasi Museum, offering a powerful glimpse into Cold War-era East Germany. For something more lively, the Dong Xuan Center—Berlin’s largest Asian market—is a trove of food stalls and shops.

Lichtenberg is exceptionally well connected with easy access to S-Bahn, U-Bahn, trams, and buses. You'll be 2 stops from Friedrichshain and 15–20 minutes from Alexanderplatz, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.

Cleaning Policy:
Price includes a one time cleaning fee upon check-out. Also, we can negotiate a mid-stay clean if wanted (if 1 month or longer). No smoking indoors.

No house parties:
This is our only home so please make sure that you treat it with love and don’t throw parties.

Plant watering:
Our home has plants (inside and out) so we kindly ask to water them once a week depending on the weather.

About This Lister

Living in this apartment since 2021, we bring together German-American and Pakistani cultures in our Lichtenberg home. Between Christa's NGO work in the Middle East and Zain's role in travel tech, we've created a peaceful space in a building we share with young couples and families. Our perfect evening? Either hosting friends for dinner or enjoying wine and a book at our local café around the corner.
