I'm subletting my floor-through brownstone apartment (1.5br, with an office) from 12/20 to 1/12, but dates are flexible. It's a classic Bed-Stuy brownstone apartment: tons of natural light from north and south, hardwood floors, high ceilings with crown moldings, and a ceiling fan in every room.
🏠
• BEDROOM: Massive and bright, with a plush queen bed, large bay windows, lots of books, and a closet.
• OFFICE: Large desk, vintage Knoll Pollock office chair, and 25” monitor. (I work from home and it's a perfect setup.)
• TV / LIVING ROOM: Comfy couch, coffee table, and 55” smart TV with various streaming services. The room is in the middle of the apartment and doesn't get a ton of light, so it's best for nighttime hangs (or midday naps).
• DINING ROOM: Table, four chairs, and a chaise lounge overlooking the backyard.
• KITCHEN: Fully stocked with a microwave, oven, cookware, and Vitamix blender.
• BATHROOM: Tub with shower, sink, and Tushy bidet.
📍
The apartment is off Tompkins Avenue, on a third-floor walkup in a four-unit brownstone building. Great spots within a 5-minute walk include Corto, Frog, Peaches HotHouse, Odd Fox, Lovers Rock, Warude, and Dear Friend Books.
🧺
There's a very clean laundromat half a block away.
🚇
The C at Kingston-Throop is a 7-minute walk and the A at Nostrand is a 12-minute walk.

No pets, please!
I’m a writer in my early thirties. I’ve lived in Bed-Stuy since 2020 and moved to this apartment in the spring. I like hikes, bikes (clearly), and books (duh).
Tenant
I'm looking for a subletter who's clean, conscientious, and chill. If those traits apply to you, shoot me an email with a bit about yourself and some social media links. We'll then set up a FaceTime or quick in-person meeting.
In advance of your stay, you’ll send me a copy of your ID and make the full payment of $100 per night, plus a small security deposit (to be returned upon apartment inspection at the end of your stay). You'll also sign a short sublease agreement. Standard stuff.
