Located on the second floor of a converted four-story factory, the loft is peaceful and quiet, with plenty of street parking and steps away from local shops and restaurants on Van Brunt street.
The loft has a California king bed with a firm, comfortable mattress and an extra twin mattress. High-speed WiFi and all utilities are included, and the building offers elevator access, washer/dryer on each floor, and a live-in super. Cleaning services can be arranged during your stay.
Please note: The loft is not child-proof, and the staircase to the loft is steep without a railing. We kindly ask that you respect the quiet nature of the building—no large parties or loud gatherings. You’ll also be asked to water a few plants weekly and handle recycling/trash as needed. Just a short walk from Van Brunt Street, Red Hook’s vibrant main drag with great restaurants, breweries, and distilleries. Coffey Park is nearby, and the loft is 20 minutes on foot to Brooklyn Bridge Park and waterfront piers.
Transportation:
Closest subway: F/G at Smith-9th or F at Carroll Street. The South Brooklyn Ferry station is a quick walk away, offering a scenic and affordable 15-minute ride to Manhattan. CitiBikes are also just around the corner.
We’re an architect couple who have lived on and off in this loft for the past 8 years. Currently, we’re working on projects in the Hudson Valley and will be living full-time upstate which is why we’re offering the loft for sublease. The dates are flexible but we do prefer someone to stay long term.
Current tenant
We’d love to set up a quick call or video call to get to know you better. A simple sublease contract will be signed between us, and rent can be paid directly via Zelle on the 1st of each month.
We require a one-month security deposit, which will be refunded at the end of your stay if there are no damages.
