I am subletting my beautiful, bright, furnished bedroom in a 2-bedroom apartment in central Bushwick from February through May 2025.

The room will be fully furnished with a queen bed, desk, dresser and shelf, and boasts a huge closet and high ceilings.

The apartment is recently renovated, and gets beautiful light from south-facing windows. There is a dishwasher, a soaking tub, and central heat/AC. The shared space in the apartment will also be fully furnished.

You would be sharing the apartment with one roommate who works full-time, sometimes remotely. He is very clean and respectful, and likes to cook. It's a very lowkey vibe, and he doesn't tend to host friends very often.

The apartment is a 3rd floor walk-up, and is a 10-20-minute walk to restaurants, bars and clubs in either direction. There is a laundromat around the corner, and subway stops and grocery stores a 10-minute walk away.

You would be responsible for 1/2 of the rent ($1450/mo) and 1/2 of the utility bills (amounts to ~100/mo).

If it's a good fit, there is also a potential for a lease takeover in June.

I am a musician who has lived in Brooklyn for almost 10 years. I am looking to move out of the city and I am hoping to find someone responsible, clean and communicative to take care of my apartment for the final 4 months of my lease.

You'd be sharing the apartment with my roommate, who is very neat, relaxed and lowkey. He works full-time in marketing, mostly remote but sometimes in-person. He is very easygoing, and likes to cook and watch TV at the end of the day.
