The apartment is a block to a subway station. Near D/N/R trains. 12-15mins to Atlantic terminal/Barclays center and 20 mins to Manhattan.
A short walk to Sunset Park which sits on a hill, with great views of the Manhattan skyline. Weekly farmers markets and lots of activities. 18min walk to Industry City, which hosts a food hall, arcade, distillery’s, breweries, makers/artists quarters, shops, bakeries and Japan village.
Entry to the apartment is on the second floor, stoop stairs to the door and then once inside a walk up of about twelve steps. Original hardwood floors, over all has been updated and well maintained. Lots of natural light and plants. The place is pretty tidy and ideal subletter would be people who are as well. Its pretty quiet area(with the exception of NYC's normal city sounds), lots of families in the area.
The living room is a great space to host friends or a night in, lots of tv apps available. The kitchen features under counter lighting, coffee station for making pour over coffees, a small dishwasher, all the cooking utensils, pots, pans and plates you can need for cooking meals.
The large bedroom has nice bay window, a queen size bed, bedside tables, and storage. Currently the second room is used as an office and has a desk, wardrobe and collapsible sleeping mat for when we have guests. The sleeping mat is very comfortable and folds out to a queen size bed.
Starting and end dates are flexible but over all about two months time. Under the right circumstances could have potential to become a long term lease.

My Partner and I will be traveling for a few months and have permission to sublet with the possibility of it becoming longer term under the right situation. We have been here for about two years. Our landlord lives in the first floor apartment with his partner. They are easy going and rarely seen, but also if you need something are prompt to get things sorted. We know a lot of the neighbors on the block and everyone is friendly. Either my partner or I will be showing the space.
