We are renting our family home while spending time abroad, and looking for someone responsible to enjoy it until we return in August (dates flexible).
We own the house, and live in the top two floors, with a (lovely) tenant on the ground floor - and we also have sole access to the basement, where there is a washer and dryer.
The house is south-facing, and gets lots of light. It has two large bedrooms, one small bedroom (usually used by our young son), and a spacious deck in the back for al fresco dining. Rent includes all utilities, including high speed wifi, Roku, gas, water, and electrical.
Our block is quiet and friendly, and the house is few minutes walk from the A express train at Utica, as well as Milk and Pull, Chez Oskar, Saraghina, Laziza, Early Yves, Dick and Janes, etc etc.
No pets or smoking, please.

I am a professor and my husband is an artist, and our son is a third-grader. Our house is not the kind of cookie-cutter cheap gut reno that is too common in Bed Stuy; it's quirky and full of books and things, which is how we like it. We are in London for the year, so hoping to find renters who can manage most things themselves, and are not in need of a full-time concierge.
