Easy access to the 1,2,3 express stop at 96th, or the 1 at 86th Street. The Upper West Side is not hip, but it is very convenient and livable. Loads of restaurants and even a few good cocktail bars here and there. 15 minutes to Central park, 20 to the Natural History Museum. Great green market on Sundays and one of the largest flea markets in NYC.
