Building Out a Photo Studio in Bushwick - Looking for Studio Mates!

Art Studios for Rent

$1,000/month

Location

Bushwick, Brooklyn

Available

April 1, 2025

Size

1,400 sq. ft.

Hello! I work as a tabletop photographer, mostly shooting for CPG and food/bev clients, and I just got into a new studio in Bushwick that I'm very excited about...and I'd love to find two like-minded studio mates to share it with!

The space is 1400 sq ft, ground floor with a wide hallway for easy load-in/load-out (no ancient freight elevators!), high ceilings, hardwood floors, PRIVATE bathroom...

We're off the Morgan L and right around the corner from Syndicated, Sey, and Seitan's Helper. Good vibes in the building with other creative spaces and a busy yoga studio.

Sure, the space doesn't look like much at the moment but I'm moving quickly to build out a gear closet, kitchenette, and client lounge. Going to have really nice division between the work and chill areas.

Will have space for your own gear and will share grip equipment.

About This Lister

I'm a freelance tabletop photographer focused on projects for CPG and food/bev clients, and I do a little on-figure work here and there too.

While I'm comfortable flying solo for clients, I often work with a producer with whom we'll assemble teams to tackle projects of various scopes for clients of all sizes, managing the project from pre-production through post.

Lister's Relationship to the Space

Renter

Rental requirements

1000.00 per month for 7 full days every month. Plus share in 1/3 of the utilities (electric, gas, internet)

1000.00 security due with first month. Security will be returned upon move out.

Please give 2 months notice before you'd like to move out. That'll help to give me enough time to find a new studio mate.

We'll have a shared Google Calendar that we can use to hold and book days, and I'd hope that we could be cool and generous as a studio too - help each other out if someone needs an extra day, etc.

My only rules - I like to be extra organized and tidy. Put things back where they go. Clean up after yourself. :) This really matters to not only respect each other and our time but to also respect the space and respect our careers and clientele.
