Hi there -- We have space available for one more in our shared ceramics studio of 2 (plus you makes 3). We are two independent ceramic artists (Ginny and Jesse). You're probably someone who is looking for a full studio set up that feels like their own but needs the gear and welcomes the idea of sharing space with a small group, participating in the awesome working vibe in our space and building.

The physical space is on the 3rd floor of a 750 sq ft. section of an old warehouse in E. Williamsburg. There's a lot of great natural light. (see pic of sunset from window).

You'll have two full shelves totaling 72" x 48" x 12" private shelf space for storage. (See pic with circle). Plus you'll have shared access (between you and me (Jesse has his own gear)) to two large hand building tables, a wheel, all equipment (see below), a large L&L kiln, photo-taking backgrounds, and some additional shared storage.  Our private freight elevator opens up directly to the unit.

The space is very economical when it comes to utilities. Our kiln firing fees and electricity are very reasonable, thanks to the building management. Parking is available to rent (waiting list)

The  gear and resources you'll have access to include:
- Slop sink down the hall
- 27" (large) L&L electric kiln (28" W)
- 1 x Brent ceramics wheel
- Clay extruder
- Long slab-roller
- Pug mill and 3 wedging slabs- 2 large hand-building tables

Additional clay storage (additional to your private space)

Glazing and glaze mixing equipment (glaze materials not shared) DM me with a little about yourself and what you are looking for.

We can schedule a time for you to visit.
Monthly rent is $850 plus electric (est. $75-100./ mo., depending on how much firing you do) and firing fees and how hot the summer is (we have AC).

Kiln firings are at a very reasonable electrical cost ($50./ firing). Responsibilities include a few basics like keeping all shared space clean and orderly, proper care and use of the gear, ensuring our space is secure when leaving, and collaborating to keep utilities costs down.

First month and last month's rent and one month's security required.
