This charming two bedroom apartment is in a great location with lots of natural light, high ceilings, hardwood floors and tasteful decor on a tree lined street. Near Union Square, the East Village, and Murray Hill, it is only a short walk from five different subways that can get you anywhere else in New York City (N,R,W,Q, 4,5,6, and L). Great for vacation and for working folks with internet at 500mbps.

The very comfortable living room, dining room and kitchen are one big open space with long windows, lots of light, and facing trees. There are new appliances such as dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender and oven, as well as a washer and dryer in the back room.

Each room is well designed, especially good for one person but will accommodate two. One has a double loft bed with retractable ladder. There is a handmade closet, leather couch, table, and shelves for storage. Lock on door with a full length mirror and great lighting with dimmers for your comfort. In the other are two enormous closets, a queen bed with an antique hand painted cabinet, a sofa chair and a large window which gives nice morning light.

The bathroom is decorated with handmade tiles from artists we know in Brazil with a bathtub and great water pressure.

There are two entrances, both are a metal security door. It is a no smoking apartment and in respect to our neighbors there can't be any loud noise after 10pm. No shoes in the house as well.

The apartment is on third floor walk up of a quiet building. The neighborhood has everything you need, supermarkets (Whole Foods and Trader Joes), restaurants, cafés, bars, transportation. Union Square and Tompkins Square park are both just 5 minutes away. There is a great farmers market at Union Square on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
