This charming, large peaceful apt lies on the border of pretty Clinton Hill in Brooklyn, and it is truly a special, bright slice of heaven. I was an Airbnb Superhost for the past 10+ years :) The apt is in a quiet, small pre-war building, unique, spacious with charm and lots of light, coziness and comfort. Self controlling radiators for heat in both the bedroom and living room for Winter time and two ACs for Summer. We’re also only a 15 min ride to downtown Manhattan, West Village and SOHO on the C train. This is an elevator building. Easy Self check in. The building is in a small area between Fort Greene and Bed Stuy.
Bedroom is large and with a comfy Queen sized bed. Kitchen with breakfast nook is drenched with sunlight as is the large living room space with plenty of books. Deep bathtub and very good shower that is loved and appreciated by all past guests. If you open the shower window in the summer time it can feel like an outdoor shower :) Make sure you take a stroll in the Clinton hill & Fort Greene neighborhood nearby during your stay to discover its special beauty as it’s a landmark historical area with so much to offer and see. The neighborhood is filled with highly rated restaurants, bars and cafes. Popular spots of BK and true borough staples just steps away. Fan Fan doughnuts anyone? The famous Biggie Smalls Mural where the popular and artistic Bed Stuy neighborhood begins is also just a few blocks away. You'll always find tourists taking photos in front of it.
20 min walk to Fort Greene Park, BAM and Prospect Park, Navy Yard, Barclays stadium, downtown Brooklyn and the Dekalb Market Hall.
You can help yourself to anything in the kitchen, I always leave some treats. There is coffee and tea and other essentials. Buzzer intercom for deliveries is located in the foyer by the square mirror to let anyone into the building. Press the ‘Door’ button for a few seconds to open both doors. If you’re having friends over you’ll have to let us know please, as this is a quiet building and noisy parties are not encouraged. Smart TV is equipped with Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Peacock, Roku and more. You may use all that are already signed in if you don't have them :)
The building is situated on a bright, very chill, tree-lined street with plenty of street parking throughout the day and night. Just note the street cleaning signs if you need to move a car in the morning.
The radio player has blue tooth access so you can hook up your playlists and podcasts straight from your smart phone and play it on there, just turn knob to the blue tooth icon and pair it with your device through 'Crosley'. You can look through the record collection but the record player is on pause for now. Please respect the ‘personal storage’ closets, which are of course off limits. The right side closet facing the bathroom by the bedroom is completely free and available for you to use with lots of space and hangers and extra essentials you might need during your stay. The ironing board and iron are also located in there. For Winter time there are great built in radiators in each room which emit heat and you control it by the bottom round knobs, to turn on maximum heat spin all the way open to the left, less turn to right side or turn off when too warm by closing completely all the way right.

Newtons Laundromat is literally right across the street at 264 Gates.
Closest supermarket is Metropolitan Market at 1142 Bedford Ave 2 blocks away. There's also a very nice big one with lots of choices on Fulton and Franklin by the A/C trains which is my fave called Lincoln Market and is 6 blocks away.
Greenlight bookstore (Fort Greene side) a nice walk to FG.
C train
On Clinton/Washington stop or the Franklin stop closest but pretty much same distance maybe a block further for CW.
G train
On Classon stop.
The C stops at Fulton near Wall st, Chambers, West 4th, West Village, SOHO, Meatpacking District, Chelsea, Penn Station, 42nd st Times Sq, Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center, Upper West Side Natural Museum of History. And transfers to all East side trains are at every stop almost and very convenient to connect to. You can even take it all the way to the beach to far rock away/ fort Tilden via A train. The Jacob Riis /Queer beach is here. Coney Island is on the G to the F train.
The green G train on Classon is perfect for exploring L.I.C Queens, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Prospect Park, Fort Greene, Gowanus, Cobble Hill and all things Brooklyn and LIC :)
It also helps to have the Seamless or Grubhub, Ubereats app on your phone if you want to order any kind of food in the area, LOTS OF OPTIONS! Let them know to Buzz 4D when they arrive in your delivery notes, and buzz them in when they arrive through 'door' on intercom.
There is a BLINK fitness center/gym is located on Fulton and Franklin Av. Right next to the Lincoln supermarket I like. They have Salad bar, juices, European market options as well.
I travel a lot for work and love to sublet to friendly guests and fellow artists when the apt is available.
